Welcome to another post by yours truly! Is this what it was like being Will McDonald back in the day? How has it been a decade since the Royals Review founder stepped down from his post? Forgive me if I’m being nostalgic a bit, because this team feels an awful like the Royals did in the late 00s: rudderless, boring, and not good, only without a Cy Young pitcher like Zack Greinke.

Anyway, today is the 93rd game of the year. The Milwaukee Bucks are playing in a potentially series-clinching Game 6 of the NBA Finals, so the wee Royals/Brewers game got shoved to the afternoon, which, fair. The Royals are 2-0 against the Brewers this year, but have played absolutely horrendously on the road.

I haven’t written many recaps lately, but you can bet your britches that this will be a nonstandard recap if the Royals lose today, who have only won 23 of their last 71 games. Hold onto your butts.
