Brady Singer gets the ball as the Royals look to take the series against division leading White Sox.
There is one month left in the 2021 regular season and probably no one more than Brady Singer would love to end this season on a high note. His last three starts have shown tremendous signs of him doing so as he has gone a combined 17.2 with allowing just 4 ER.
The one part of Singer’s game that has not been better of late is his command. In his four starts in August, Singer averaged 3 walks per start.
On the season, Singer is 3-9 with a 4.87 ERA.
For the other side, the White Sox are sending Dylan Cease to the mound. He may not be as big of a name as the other White Sox starters, but Cease has put together a strong 2021 campaign.
The 25 year-old is a reliable guy who will eat some innings and put them in a position to win every time with help from the White Sox potent offense.
This is the fifth start of the year for Cease against the Royals where he is 1-0 with a 1.21 ERA in 22.1 innings.
The White Sox pitching staff is known as one of the top groups in the majors, however the Royals have scored 7 in the first two games this series and hope to continue that offensive success today.
