Game CXL: Royals at Orioles

Let’s not do last night again

MLB: Chicago White Sox at Kansas City Royals Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

So, about last night. We don’t have to talk about it too much. I’m just really curious as to how someone looked at the Royals roster, saw Michael A. Taylor and his light-bat-defensive-wizard skill set and thought to themselves “hey, that guy should DH instead of play centerfield.”

It’s a weird decision on its face, but in hindsight, given the debacle that took place in right-center field.

With that said, the Royals will look to split a four-game set against a hapless Orioles team. They send Carlos Hernandez to the mound who had given up just three runs in his last 18.2 innings pitched. He’ll be opposed by the left-handed John Means.

Here are your lineups for tonight’s matchup. Andrew Benintend is back in the cleanup spot after his big five RBI night last night. Michael is back in center and Adalberto Mondesi is I he starting lineup for the third consecutive night.
