As I get older I find myself trying more to understand people whose viewpoints are radically different from my own.

With Dayton it seems clear to me that somehow his religious beliefs interfered with his objectivity.

My guess is that this has something to do with an evangelical world view. I don't understand it though. Can anyone throw some light on this?
